~ Our Mission ~

"To provide quality, honest, and dependable vehicle repair at an affordable price"

~ Philippians 4:13 ~

About Us

OUR STORY....

Many years ago, in a land far, far away, there was a young boy who sat quietly on the sidelines as his father and uncle would repair the family vehicles; aunts, uncles, sisters, and brothers.  He would listen and absorb all that he saw, while handing tools to them.  At the young age of 13, with the help of these two men, he rebuilt his first engine.  Learning the trade through hand's on experience brought the drive to make a motor purr like a kitten.  The accomplishment of achieving that smooth running engine brought a giggle, that turned into a huge smile, along with a thumb's up sign.  As time moved on and he grew older, it became a familiar sight to see him peering under the hood at someone's motor as he made repairs to it in his parent's back yard.

That love for vehicle repair only grew bigger as time moved on, and it wasn't until his father-in-law recognized the natural talent he had for vehicle repair that, together, they opened the first quick oil change facility in their hometown.  With customers demanding quality, honest, and dependable, major repair work, they expanded to accommodate that need.

Today, you can still find him peering underneath a hood, but this time with his sons working by his side as they continue the family tradition.

VEHICLE REPAIRS

Our shop does minor, as well as, major repairs. We use OEM and aftermarket parts. Listed below are just some of the repairs we perform:

Air Conditioning Systems

Did you know that when you defrost your windshield, your air compressor is engaged? So, even in the winter months your a/c system is needed.  Let us help if you are need of a compressor, a/c line, evaporator core, or just a recharge of freon.  We are an EPA Section 609 approved shop.

Axles and Driveshafts

Good, good, good, good vibrations....

Well, maybe the Beach Boys made those vibrations good, but if you hear or feel those while accelerating in your vehicle, along with a clunk and a click, your front/rear axles, U-joints, CV joints or driveshaft may be in need of repair. Remember we can help!

Brakes

Nothing is more frightening than not being able to stop your vehicle.  Brakes  are one of the biggest safety items that require immediate attention when failing.  Whether it is pads/shoes, rotors/drums, parking brake shoes, brake lines, calipers, or just bleeding the brake system, we can help.

Check Engine Light Diagnostics

Check engine light on?  Let us scan your vehicle and tell you what is wrong.

Electrical System

Are the mice at play while the cat's away? Does your domelight flash randomly? Speedometer show you shouldn't be moving at all when, in fact, you are?  With our vast array of wiring diagrams we can find that all elusive electrical short.

Engine, Differential, and Transmission Replacement

Let us help ease your mind and pocketbook with the largest repairs we do.  We can install new, remanufactured, or salvage yard engines, differential and transmissions. Interested in rebuilding....we can help you there, as well.  We do offer financing.

We are a Jasper Engine and Transmission installer.

Exhaust System

With most communities enforcing noise ordinances, the last thing you need is a ticket for a loud exhaust system.  Not only can it be unsafe for you and  your passengers as it can leak carbon monoxide into the cab, it can affect the vehicles' overall performance.  Whether it is a muffler, pipe, or catalytic converter we are here to help!

Fuel System

Just putt-putt-putting along?  Maybe you just need to replace the fuel filter.  Can you smell fuel?  Maybe a broken fuel line. Perhaps the fuel pump has just seen better days.  Whatever it is let us test your fuel system for proper pressure and/or leaks.

Heating and Cooling Systems

Coolant leaks can not only cause our vehicles to overheat, they can keep us from staying warm inside the cabin.  Whether it's a drip, or no heat we can address any problems you may be having, such as a leaking intake, radiator/heater hoses, heater core, radiator, and thermostats. Give us a call and we will pressure test the system.

Steering and Suspension

Feel like you're in a bouncing house? Maybe you hear a clunk or whirring sound when you turn.  Whether it is ball joints, steering rack, power steering pump/lines, shocks/struts, wheel bearings/hubs, or U-joints we are here to help you with any steering or suspension issues you may be having.

Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

Is your vehicle feeling a little down?    When there is low tire pressure, or if the tire pressure drops below the manufacturer’s recommended level of tire pressure, the TPMS will detect and report the discrepancy by illuminating a light on the dashboard. When this happens you should check your tire pressure.  Whether it is just the weather change, a nail in the tire , or something more in depth, bring your vehicle to us so we can remedy the issue.

VEHICLE CARE TIPS

TIPS FOR LONGEVITY

  • Change your fluids on time, every time.
  • Change your oil every 3,000 miles for regular, 5,000 miles for synthetic oil
  • Change antifreeze fluid every 30,000 miles.
  • Change brake fluid every 30,000 miles.
  • Change transmission fluid every 30,000 miles.
  • Schedule a maintenance check every 15, 30, 60, and 90,000 miles.
  • Replace your air filter every 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first).
  • Replace your fuel filter every 2 years or 24,000 miles (whichever comes first).
  • Lube  moving components such as CV and U-Joints.
  • Check battery life.  Connections should be tight, clean, and free of corrosion.
  • Avoid stop-and-go driving which is not only hard on many vehicle components, but rough on fuel savings.

GOT PUDDING?

Could the likes of butterscotch pudding be running throughout your  cooling system?

Remove your radiator cap when the engine is cold and peer into the radiator.  Is there antifreeze in there?  Is it thick, like pudding, with a color resembling butterscotch?  Look at the overflow bottle, is it empty and not up to the fill line? If any of these are true, it is time to do a cooling system flush.

Coolant keeps our motors cooled down while they are operating.  Fresh antifreeze allows our engines to run at peak performance, while preventing expensive repairs like; intake manifolds, head gaskets, radiators, and water pumps.

Schedule now to keep your vehicle in top running condition!

GAS THAT EXTRA MILE

Poor gas mileage causing a budget burden? Follow these recommendations to help improve your gas mileage so you can save your cash!

  • Inspect your air filter frequently.  If dirty, it is time to replace it.
  • Tune It Up!  Replacing your plugs, wires, fuel filter and PCV value will make the vehicle run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Inspect your brakes for a drag. A smooth operating braking system will prevent a load-bearing pull on the vehicle's performance.
  • Check your tire pressure weekly. Temperature changes can make pressure go up and down which causes an unnecessary load on the vehicle.
  • Clean the injectors of carbon and varnish build-up that can accumulate over the lifetime of the vehicle.
